Designing the foundation
I led six developers and worked directly with the client, product, design, backend, and QA to plan implementation. Reusable components and mocked APIs let the teams move forward together.
Healthcare and financial planning need clear interfaces and dependable behavior. These projects shaped how I lead mobile development.
I led React Native development for BlueStar Retirement’s MyPlanConnection app, starting with its architecture.
The product helps people understand their retirement progress and manage their 401(k) plans from a phone. Praxent’s case study describes guided enrollment, contribution changes, and retirement income projections.

The app included biometric login, multifactor authentication, financial charts, responsive tables, and custom sliders. Native modules, WebViews, and push notifications extended the experience. Token refresh, error handling, feature flags, and automated builds supported delivery.
At the time, the BlueStar project accounted for more than 30% of Praxent’s revenue.
I led technical work on a patient portal that connects family health history with clinical care.
I built family profiles, invitations, genetic testing flows, phone verification, push notifications, and biometric login using React Native, React Native Web, and Expo.
I contributed to the roadmap, hiring, and product decisions alongside architecture, technical debt reduction, and estimates. I mentored developers and automated builds for Android, iOS, and web with Bitbucket Pipelines.
I co-founded Holi (Hospital Online), an app used by multiple local hospitals. I led four full-stack developers, working with clients on requirements, project planning, and releases.
I built tools for medicine and supply inventory, purchasing from different suppliers, patient sales, and multiple warehouses with role-based access and feature flags.
The work included PDF statements, patient charges, user-specific themes, a maintenance mode for updates, and bug reports submitted from the app.
We used TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Zustand, RTK Query, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Prisma, AWS, Serverless Framework, Vercel, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
